GD Mug on Viking Water Bottle

GD Mug on Viking Water Bottle

The GD mug on Viking bottle with a post war canteen felt cover made a funny couple.

Both are safe to use as all clean with new cover and seal.

I am a decade older and a bit wiser, or with the help of Google translate and better camera.

Took pics again after a decade and check the letters an error had been found.

PANSEPGR should be PANSERER

Will correct it whenever free.

Happy to found its history which was from ‘The 1st Panzer Army (German: 1. Panzerarmee)’—-

The 1st Panzer Army was named Panzer Group Kleist (Panzergruppe Kleist).

New pics are more clearer than the decade old set.

The original bottle was wrote In Danish:

In front:

HEIL: TIL: VIKINGERNE!

1941

Translate as:

Rare side in Danish:

NORDLAND

1943

FOR:FøREN: OG

STOR TYSKLAND

Translate as:

1943
