One of the seller has the following description:

*Camp and trench coffee grinder of the Royal Italian Army, model 1905, made by the company “Tre Spade”, with original metal box. Used during the First and the Second World War.

*Other seller wrote:

This is a robust WWII Italian/German Army Coffee grinder (Kaffeemühle), also used by the Wehrmacht as part of the (field)kitchen.

*Morettino Museum Factory:

There are the first column coffee makers of the early twentieth century and the coffee grinders of the First World War made by the Italian army,

This is an all-in-one unit, grinder and carrying case. when not in use, the grinder fits into the case. When want to grind some coffee, just lift it up, give it a quarter of a turn so that the grinder rests on the inner catches inside the case, locked and mount the handle, and begin grinding.

Adjustable from fine to coarse simply by turning the knob underneath the grinding burr.
