Relic Throatmic Housings

Obtained a relic lot to play with in my yard years ago.
Made everywhere dirt and rust and wife almost kill me.
The metal neck bands rotten away, only the Bakelite housing left behind, also the speech capsules dropped out when the retaining screw melted.
Piece of the neckband steel is still sandwiched between the end of the housings, as the Bakelite was mold around the neckband.
The only way to reuse these housing is to saw open the end piece and remove the rusty steel, then to glue back a new neckband.
When short out the relic piles found there are three different versions of throastmic housings.
- Two bubbles near the cable entry.
- All smooth but three mold lines.
- One third of the side near cable entry is higher,
Don’t know the different in between, may be for feeling by fingers in the dark like the knobs of the modern radios.
Learn a lot of the constructions from it.
But my replica housings are all smooth, no such features, as CNC machine are unable for these features.
